About Performances to Grow On

Performances to Grow On (PTGO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives through the power of live performance. Since 1995, PTGO has brought storytelling, theater, music, and multicultural performing arts to schools and communities across Ventura County and beyond.

Through assemblies, field trips, and the beloved Ojai Storytelling Festival, PTGO connects audiences of all ages with artists from around the world, sparking imagination, empathy, and understanding. Our programs celebrate cultural diversity, foster creativity, and support arts education for students who might not otherwise experience live performance.

With every story told and every stage shared, Performances to Grow On continues its mission to inspire curiosity, build community, and nurture a lifelong love of the arts.
